James Hurwitz

Jim Hurwitz is a contributing analyst for the American Antitrust Institute (AAI) and is author of the recently published white paper Commentary: Ticketmaster – Live Nation, in which he analyzes the implications of the Ticketmaster/Live Nation proposed merger on both the primary and secondary ticketing industries. Prior to working with AAI, Hurwitz served as Deputy Attorney General in California and as an antitrust policy analyst with the Federal Trade Commission. Hurwitz received an M.A. from London School of Economics and a J.D. from University of California Berkeley School of Law.
