Old Dominion University Stephen Shapiro is currently an assistant professor of Sport Management at Old Dominion University. Shapiro’s research focuses on financial management in college athletics and ticket pricing in college and professional sport. He has published research on price determinants in the secondary market, sport fan consumption behavior, and college athletic donor behavior. His research has been published in journals, such as International Journal of Sport Finance, Sport Management Review, Sport Marketing Quarterly, and International Journal of Sport Management. Shapiro received his B.A. and M.B.A. from University of Central Florida and his Ph.D. from University of Northern Colorado.
